The Friends are kept up to date with events connected with, or taking place in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Some events are organised exclusively for the Friends, while others are open to the general public. For Hyde Park Events: Click Here
Looking back over the last couple of years, members enjoyed special visits to Winter Wonderland, the Old Police House stables, Kensington Palace, Albert Memorial Undercroft, as well as a perfumed reverie in the Hyde Park Nurseries. The annual summer party in Hyde Park was a great success in Hyde Park, always accompanied with wine and nibbles. We were looked after on all these occasions by expert and very hospitable hosts.

BST Concert Draw

Royal Parks has sent us an offer to draw names for a pair of tickets for the following shows during BST. The requests will be drawn, and the lucky winners will be told by us and their email addresses forwarded to the events team who will then make contact. Members only.
Tour of BST Site
Wednesday 1st July
Jessica Chambers (The Royal Parks Events Communications Manager) has invited our members to a tour of the BST site on Weds 1st July. This will be in the afternoon at about 5 pm so those who work will hopefully be able to join in.
Members Plant Sale: The Hyde Park Nursery

We are indebted to manager Robert Dowling for inviting us again
After these amazing plants which have been grown in this huge and largely hidden space have gone out to the Royal Parks and Buckingham Palace beds, there are usually some surplus plants and these, we are very lucky, are offered to the members first of all.
AGM Hyde Park Learning Centre at The Look Out

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2026 Annual General Meeting of The Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens will be held at the ‘Hyde Park Learning Centre’ formerly called ‘The LookOut’, (by kind invitation of Manager, Graham Alderton). Beginning at 6pm on Wednesday the 8th July 2026.
